Q1. My S31 has issues with the app and or maps 

  • 1. The S31 can occasionally lose its Lidar map therefore requiring the robot to remap on occasion whilst cleaning your house.
    2. The app can also occasionally disconnect from the robot on some mobile devices therefore the app may need to be re-downloaded. If this does occur, the remote control that’s included, must be used.
    The manufacturer is always constantly working on updating and improving the user-app experience to solve most of these intermittent problems.Make sure you have the latest update on your appPlease note that the above-mentioned issues are rare and far between, and none of the above-mentioned issues affects the performance of the vacuum and how the vacuum cleans and mops and finds its way around the house and then back to it’s charging station to self-empty and recharge itself..

Q2. The remote doesn’t work.

  • Check that the batteries in the remote have power.
  • Make sure you press the Power Switch to ON.
  • Check that the Cybovac battery level is not critically low or empty.
  • Check that the distance between the Cybovac and remote is within the effective range (5m/16ft).

Q3. My Cybovac has suddenly stopped working.

  • Check if the Cybovac is trapped or stuck.
  • Check that the Cybovac battery level is not critically low or empty.
  • Check that you did not pause the Cybovac.

Q4. The Cybovac cannot start the scheduled cleaning.

  • Make sure you press the Power Switch to ON.
  • Check if the scheduled time is set correctly(AM/PM).
  • Check that the Cybovac battery level is not critically low or empty.
  • Check if you have cancelled the schedule(s).
  • Check the status of the Cybovac. It will not start the scheduled cleaning if there is a problem.

Q5. The suction power is weak.

  • There are three levels of suction available for this model-press MIN / MAX to adjust the level.
  • Empty the Dust Bin and clean the Filter.
  • Replace the HEPA inside of the Filter.

Q6. The Cybovac is making noises.

  • The Cybovac will create some noise when cleaning, which is normal. Adjust your cleaning times to avoid being inconvenienced.
  • If a sharp noise is heard, check to see if anything is tangled in the Main Brush and Side Brush.
  • Check the Dust Bin for any objects that could create noise.
  • If the Cybovac requires assistance, it will beep.

Q7. The Cybovac won’t charge.

  • Check if the Power Indicator on the Charging Base lit up.
  • Make sure the Charging Contacts on the Cybovac are aligned with those on the Charging Base.
  • Clean the Charging Contacts with a dry cloth (alcohol is not recommended).

Q8. The Cybovac cannot return to the Charging Base.

  • Remove any obstacles near the Charging Base so the Cybovac can detect it.
  • Check how far apart the Cybovac and Charging Base are. The further apart, the longer it will take to reach the Charging Base.
  • Check that the Cybovac battery level is not critically low or empty.
  • Clean the sensors on the Bumper of the Cybovac and the Charging Base with a dry cloth.

Q9. The Main Brush on the bottom of the Cybovac cannot work.

  • Check if the brush is stuck by some objects; if yes, please remove them and clean the brush.
  • Make sure the brush and its lid were installed properly.

Q10. The route created by the Cybovac is not described as instructed.

  • The gyroscope or the optical flow sensor is abnormal. Please place the Cybovac on a flat surface and reboot it; check whether there is dust or oil residue left on the cover of the optical flow sensor.
  • The Cybovac is finding and returning to the Charging Base.
  • Please directly contact us.

Q11. The cleaning time becomes shorter or less than 100 minutes.

  • The cleaning time varies with the cleaning mode, the suction power level and the material type of the surface.
  • If the Cybovac is not fully charged, the cleaning time will be shorter.

Q12. What happens if I have more than one floor?

  • There are multiple stored maps that you can name and easily move the Cybovac from one floor to the next

Q13. What happens if my vacuum loses its way and either can’t find its base station or cannot make its way to an allocated room?

  • This is likely to be because the vacuum has been lifted off for whatever reason (detangling from something that it has eaten like a cable or sock) and been put down on the ground in a different spot. Should this occur place In bay station and recharge and then remap (through starting cleaning in the normal way)

    I bought the Kyvol cybovac S31 and man I'm glad I did. This thing is awesome. First things first the quality and style is great. The packaging it came in was impressive and top notch as well. I have had 2 older I-robot's before buying this,and this Kyvol is as good of quality or better. Performance is better then my irobot's and the suction is phenomenal. It's nice this has 2 spinning brushes and the main base collection is a game changer. No more limits on how much this can clean since it can empty and recharge and go back out to clean more. The Kyvol is great at mapping my house out and being able to steer around objects in its way. Like I said before this thing is awesome and I have no complaints or regrets buying it. One more thing that never gets mentioned about the Kyvol cybovac is that the price is actually cheap when you facture in how much it's saving and cleaning for you. If you hired a cleaning company once a week their main task is to sweep and they are only doing it once a week. Think about it this way I have mine sweep the whole house everyday. Not only does the house not get the chance to get dirty but I don't have to do anything. Have a cleaning company come everyday to sweep the whole house and see how much that will cost you. Also you would not believe how much dirt this thing will pick up even running it everyday. No more dust and fuzz crap on my vinyl plank flooring ever. Can express how much this vac will keep your place clean all the time while I do life's hundreds of other tasks. All I would wish for is that they make a robot to clean my counter tops and I would be all set. Love this thing. Phenomenal vacuum. Well worth the investment. This did an amazing job cleaning!!!!! I definitely recommend!!!!!!!!

    Very satisfied with my purchase!! I have a 2 year old who is leaving crumbs all over so this is a lifesaver because I am unable to keep up with vacuuming my home everyday. My mother In law lives in apartment attached to my home and has the Samsung robot. Hers constantly gets stuck and often tells her to move it. I love that it creates a map of your home and every time I run it, it’s learning my house even better. It works great on carpet, tile, & hardwood (I have all 3 in my home). I have 3 levels in my home so it’s cool that I am able to create different maps and save each levels map. I attached a picture of the map and am noticing it update with more detail each time I use it and it’s learning my rooms.

    My best investment! My apartment is 80m ^ 2 and it goes everywhere and picks everything in one pass, hair, dust, crumbs, everything. Just pay attention to the cables and avoid leaving it not grounded even if the vacuum cleaner is cut when it is tangled. I did not expect at all this quality and that it can replace a vacuum cleaner and a mop, but it replaces it well. The mop mode is just ok, the battery life is top. The mobile app connection is quite easy you just follow the instructions in the booklet or in the app. There are so many settings to chose from, you just need to get the app and see. The suction power is strong. Mopping works well it will clean all the dust on the floor just don't expect it to clean like when you do it manually it won't scrub the dirt on the floor it will just wipe it. It also has a remote control and it comes with batteries, so no need to buy batteries. It has extra dust bags, it has extra heppa filter and spare parts. Over all I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

    Before I start the review, I’m comparing this to the other robotic vacuums we have which is a low end Roomba and another Kyvol. We got the Roomba as a present and honestly hated it, it was loud, dumb (constantly getting stuck or missing things), and didn’t clean well. We tried the other Kyvol on sale and even though it was less money, it cleaned SO much better. After having it a few months the only thing we didn’t like about it was having to remember to empty it after each cleaning. Enter this newly released model. As soon as I saw this was being released I knew we needed to try it. This was worth the extra for the dumping into the base station alone, but OMG, it cleans even better than the last Kyvol with more suction (which is louder though), a lidar system for scanning the house and showing the path it’s taking as well as being able to block off rooms in the app, and all sorts of enhanced goodies including a floor mopping option built in. I couldn’t be happier with its performance and how it leaves our floors looking. I also included a picture above of the incredible amount of extras for the replaceable pieces. I love this robot vacuum! My only note is that depending on what’s in the vacuum you can sometimes get a bag is full message if something blocks the hole even if there’s nothing in the bag.

    Decided to write about my little great hepler. Was hesitant about spending this much money for a robot vacuum. Since I have a good regular vacuum for once a week deep cleaning. But took a chance. And very happy I did. The robot vacuum is a smart machine that builds "vacuum territory" I can turn it on while I am at work and it cleans by itself. With good suction power and long battery life the vacuum easily keeps my house clean every day without me putting effort. I get home and change the function to mop plus add water and it mops the floor. Easy and little effort. I have a cat and this vacuum is a great help with cleaning pet hair. Thickness is ok for my furniture. Noise is a little louder than I would like but I use it most of the time when I am not home so it is not a big deal. Self cleaning bag is a great help. Have to clean it up once a week so far. So I am happy with this purchase. Not as expensive as famous brands but does the job good.

    I tragically crashed my P4Pro into a wind turbine, tried various parties here in Joburg to get it fixed and also tried the UK, all to no avail,. They all wanted to do a complete swop of the camera and gimble for the cost of a refurbished drone!. Contacted Drone World, dropped it off with the staff there who were extremely helpful and confirmed that they could replace the broken, components only, voila three day later the drone is on its way back to me and for a third of the alternative price.
