In case you missed it, the GoPro Karma was recalled last year due to sudden loss of power which would cause the drone to crash mid-flight.

GoPro CEO Nick Woodman says the company is planning to relaunch its Karma drone in 2017. Karma’s malfunction was due to a “basic battery retention issue,” according to Woodman and says his company will share details about the Karma relaunch in February.

According to Woodman, the problem can even be fixed with a piece of tape. The problem with the drone stems from the battery basically popping out a few millimetres and causing a power failure in the drone.
